TAIPEI, Taiwan, Jan. 31, 2008 — Silicon Motion Technology Corporation today announced its fourth quarter 2007 financial results. Fourth quarter net sales increased 48% year-over-year to US$53.4 million and GAAP net income increased 16% year-over-year to US$11.9 million, or US$0.35 per diluted ADS, compared to US$0.33 per diluted ADS in the fourth quarter of 2006.
